First drafts. Thoughts about the exhibition in St:Petersburg "Dialogue"-biennial of the modern art 2005. Woodcut and a drawing installation named “Civilization and its discontents”. John Rasimus August 2005
1. Had an idea about to make several "flecks" and combine them whit 50-60 small drawings and mdf-board drawings.
2. I´ve been working on my "fleck" theme, made some new mdf-drawings, girl in yellow dress and nature and some new table cloth snow flakes.
3. A drawing on a cracked mdf-board, thinking to bring my sculpture (in the background ) "contemporary art" in the show.

4.Made some new sketches after that I came up with the name for the installation “civilization and its discontents” (Freud).
5. Using the girl and boy from "pick nick" and made a Reutersward figure over their head to think about...
6. House formation drawing on mdf, ready to be cut out to use as a wood block print on canvas.

9. Almost done. I will be using the fleck pictures in the installation and probably some drawings too. The size on the gook star house is 150x 240 and the boy meets girl 280x 240cm.printed on painted fabric.
